If you've worked with a Windows tablet (either the Surface or the new Dell tablet, which runs Windows 8), you'll have noticed that Overdrive really looks and works quite differently from what we're accustomed to with iOS or Droid devices. I don't think it is as intuitive a device.
One of the things that baffled me about using Overdrive on Windows-based devices was finding the return/delete option for titles. On all other current devices, you just hold your finger down on the image of the cover, and the return/delete option pops up. This does not work on a Windows tablet, and there seems to be no option for it at all.
But there is. When you're in the Book Shelf of the app, where it's showing the cover images of the items the patron has downloaded, place your finger on the center right of the image and swipe down. This causes a menu to appear at the bottom of the screen and this is where the return/delete option appears. This option also works for Windows smartphones as well.
Hope this helps, and sorry if it's old news to most. I've worked with about four patrons over the last 2 years that had Windows-based devices, and I could never discern how to return something early. A patron I was helping came back to me after taking her device to a Widows store, and she clued me in on how to find it.
