A patron reported the new Nook HD Tablet is not recognized by the laptop version of ADE. I did a little searching around and found other people with the same problem. It appears the Nook HD has a slightly different operating system that keeps all versions of ADE from recognizing it.
The patron verified that the app works just fine, but he likes to have the non-wi-fi option available as well. He's said he's already contacted both Adobe and Overdrive about the problem and was told there wasn't a solution at the moment.
So i just wanted to report it in case you have patrons with the same problem. There's nothing to be done about it at the moment.

Got it! So they have an option, but not the direct USB download option.......Good to know. Thanks for continuing to post here, Sean. I got an email forwarded to me the other day of something you had already posted here and I realized it must be just you me and the crickets.....with the change over, we will see what happens with this new forum. I will keep checking it, but not sure who will be monitoring and posting.....would work great if the managers and supervisors would get behind it....;-)
