This article from Motley Fool appeared this evening: www.fool.com/investing/general/2013/06/25/barnes-noble-finally-gives-up.aspxIt appears B&N is going to discontinue the Nook in all formats, as it appears to be a loss-leader for them. On the other hand, the article talks about how some other tablet company might want to buy into the Nook brand name, so it might be kept around but not actually sold by B&N. I was surprised to learn that Microsoft has nearly a 20% stake in the Nook. I never knew Microsoft and B&N had any business relationship at all. Sean

Ooops - should have said that it's the Nook Color and Nook tablet that are being "sort of" discontinued. Looks like B&N actually does mean to continue with its basic Nook e-reader.

I guess if they are losing $$$ I don't blame them one bit. I think they will still carry eContent since the Nook app is out there, so we will see if this effects their content. I cannot at this point think of how this might effect any of our database usage with those devices, but who knows where this technology is going......
Thanks for the info Sean.
