Hi everyone, I was thinking of the type of software programs we don't have and might wish we did during certain patron transactions. The first one that comes to mind is Adobe PDF Writer - which would allow patrons to manipulate PDF files. PDF Writer seems useful for people who have their resumes in PDF format and need to make updates. (I've noticed the Jeffco Workforce Center saves everyone's resumes as PDF files, which frustrates them later when they want to make an update). There are a couple of very good, free PDF - Word converters out there (I think www.freepdfconvert.com/pdf-word is the best of the ones I've tried), but they can have difficulty keeping the original format or graphics contained in the PDF file. Having software that can manipulate a PDF file directly just feels like a technology addition that makes sense for us. Any thoughts on this or other software you've wished we had while helping patrons? Sean
