Recently, patrons have been reporting that they are seeing 'download disabled' on some of their checked-out OverDrive items. We used to see that message only on library computers, but now patrons see it when they have an incompatible format checked out. Not sure if there are other reasons for it, but the cases I've seen so far are for incompatibility. I've been directing people to the My Help link because they can just follow the prompts to find out what formats will work with their particular device. tinyurl.com/a82ps4q

You got it....this means they are trying to download an incompatible format for their device. The only other reason is that they might be on a device and using the internet browser of their device when they should be accessing the mobile site via the app, so make sure they have clicked on the app to get to their currently checked out page and then with the right format, they should be golden;-)
