We had a patron this morning with a Kindle Fire, and somehow Overdrive is set to look only for open epub ebooks. No matter what we tried, every time we got into Overdrive and looked at Advanced Search, open epub was the only choice for format. Quite strange and awfully frustrating! Has anyone else seen that? Any ideas?? Searching on forums led us nowhere.

I have not read the link you provided yet, so that might take care of it, but wanted to post what I have found to be the issue with this. Basically if you are working on a kindle fire, and you want a kindle format book, you need to just go through the internet on the device, and not go through the overdrive app. I guess Amazon feels that you should go through the web to get the format most suited to the device and then for those that need the additional software (app) you can access the ePub and MP3 formats via this app. Hope this helps.
